1. Who we are
These terms govern your purchase and use of Lumy Glasses, the Lumy app and related services, operated by Lumylabs ("we", "us"). By ordering or using Lumy, you agree to these terms.
2. Pre-orders
Pre-orders reserve a unit from the first production run. Shipping timelines are estimates, not guarantees — hardware production can shift. You can cancel a pre-order for a full refund any time before your unit is dispatched.
3. Your account
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials safe and for activity under your account. One pair of glasses pairs with one phone at a time.
4. Acceptable use
- Follow local laws on recording — the indicator LED must not be obstructed, disabled or covered.
- Don't use Lumy to record people where they have a reasonable expectation of privacy.
- Don't reverse-engineer, resell access to, or abuse the AI services, or attempt to bypass usage limits.
5. AI responses
Lumy's AI answers are generated automatically and can be wrong. Don't rely on them as professional medical, legal or financial advice. Translation output is provided as-is.
6. Warranty and returns
Hardware is covered by the 8-month limited warranty. Returns are governed by the Returns policy. Scratches, water spills and liquid damage are not covered.
7. Subscriptions
Some AI features may require a subscription after launch. Pricing and inclusions will be published before any charge applies, and you can cancel renewal at any time.
8. Intellectual property
Lumylabs owns the Lumy software, branding and design. Content you capture with your glasses is yours.
9. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Andhra Pradesh, India.
